This is a macro shot of a Diez Pesos coin, He's called Tonatiuh, he is right in the center of the Aztec Calendar Stone he is the Sun God in the Aztec culture, Aztecs believed that there were four suns created in four previous ages, Tonatiuh was (and still is) the fifth sun , They said that when the Fifth sun dies there will be a catastrophe aka the Apocalypse (according to the Mayas It will be around the year 2012) his strenght was mantained with human sacrifices; Tonatiuh was in charge of the heaven called Tollan where only dead warriors and women who died giving birth where received in there....
